This collaborative seminar meets on alternate Wednesdays 8:00-10:00 a.m., beginning with breakfast provided in Keble’s Hall, to discuss topics and texts in the development of biblical and early Christian faith and practice.
The subject focus may alternate between (a) Jewish or early Christian primary sources, (b) classic or important recent works of scholarship, or occasionally (c) research in progress by members of the group. Suggestions for future work are always welcome; please contact Prof. Bockmuehl for further information or to be added to the mailing list.
In 2024-2025 the Colloquium will again meet in all three terms. The programme is normally confirmed, by email circular and on this web page, before Week 1 each Term.
Michaelmas Term 2024
The programme will focus on a couple of recent publications, TBC in September.
Our first meeting begins at 8:00 on Wednesday 23 October in Keble Hall; those who do not wish to join for breakfast are welcome to proceed straight to the Pusey Room for a start of 8:30 sharp.
